Titanic Toy Line was a concept that I created when I was in college at Bradley University. The assignment was to create an original package design for a fictional product. At the time, it was 1997 and everywhere you looked, you saw SOMETHING for the blockbuster movie, Titanic. Because I loved collecting action figures so much, I thought what better way to poke fun at a popular movie about a sinking ocean liner than to create action figures of the characters, Jack & Rose. At the time, the design was mediocre at best. Years later, I decided to revisit and redesign the concept. Not only did I make packaging for the figures, who by the way are actually Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia painted up to look like Leo and Kate, but I also created mock-ups for a staircase playset, trading cards, and a POS display showing off the product line. I'm still SHOCKED these were never produced... *sniff* I'll never let go.
